Facebook, Vs Mobile Phones Vs second life?

In times people use different ways to study and I have found that people tend to use more of a computer approach.
Facebook can help with studying as it is a social networking website where people can create groups so people can get together and compare notes, have discussions and upload work through images but there is not personal contact.

Mobile phones, mobiles nowadays with growing technology of videos, cameras, texting, video messaging and picture messaging can help as now students can do work but its also a distraction.

Second Life is now a new concept which has been around for a while but only recently been modified and updated to be more sophisticated. on Second life you can create an avatar of yourself and create an environment similar to yours but nothing is different jus the way you design it, on second life you can use this to study and this is because creating groups and islands here you can invite students and you can hold virtual lectures online.

Ray Adams CD critique

In the ray Adams CD it talks about the computer science teachnology and how a program introduced him called circua, CIRCUA acts as an effective basis for a range of activities that include; networking, collaboration, communication, grant applications, consultancy, practical projects,3/30/2009 4 training, conferences workshops and journal issues and papers. As observed, “CIRCUA is a network that works”. (REf from Ray Adams cd). In my first attempt to read the Ray adams Cd I found that i had to have a second read. The Cd was helpful it introduces you to different view of computing although the layout of the presentation could be a little more presentable and with lot more brighter colours so it catches your eye and not boring to read. Another aspect of this is that the Ray Adams cd is too long and it is hard to read as you get bored half way through so shortening the read would encourage more people to read it.
